ILDK Media  was founded in 2004 by entertainment publicist Mona Elyafi and named in tribute to her grandmother’s initials, a legacy-driven detail that still informs the agency’s ethos today.

Elyafi began her career at some of Los Angeles’ most respected PR firms, making her debut at the iconic Lee Solters Company. There, she was mentored by Steve Levesque (VP of Music) and the late Lee Solters, whose seven-decade career helped shape the public images of cultural icons including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, and Michael Jackson.

Her work spans the full spectrum of entertainment and lifestyle publicity, from music, fashion, and beauty to social advocacy, special events, film, television, and hospitality, bringing a rare range and cultural fluency to every campaign.

Her portfolio includes publicity for legendary artists and cultural figures such as Rick James, Chaka Khan, James Brown, Chris Tucker, Gloria Gaynor, Taylor Dayne, Kenny Chesney, and Billy Ray Cyrus, alongside landmark events including the Los Angeles premiere of The Business of Being Born, Lisa Rinna’s Belle Gray store opening, and the Carousel of Hope Charity Gala.

A recognized force in female-driven, large-scale events and festivals, Elyafi notably led the long-running PR campaign for The Dinah, the world’s most influential music festival and Party for Queer Women, helping solidify its global cultural footprint and mainstream relevance.

Born in Beirut and raised in Paris, Elyafi has lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles and is now based on the U.S. East Coast, bringing a global sensibility to her work.
