DIVERSITY & INCLUSION CONSULTANCY

The HRC Foundation, which provides studies aimed to make the LGBTQ+ inclusion methods and policies an important part of any workplaces’ everyday practice, released: A Workplace Divided: Understanding the Climate for LGBTQ Workers Nationwide.

The study revealed that 46% of LGBTQ employees do not feel comfortable to be open about their sexual orientation at their workplace.

ILDK Media Diversity and Inclusion Consultancy Program helps employers go beyond simple inclusive policies and methods to work toward creating a culture of inclusion and social responsibility in the workplace and across all communication platforms.

1) HOW TO BE A LGBTQ+ CHAMPION
2) HOW TO EMBRACE A GENDER NEUTRAL WORLD

In a world where plenty of employees are living beyond the gender binary, how do companies move into and adapt to a gender-neutral/non-binary future?

Journalists and corporate communicators already saw the AP Stylebook break tradition by prescribing the use of “they” as a singular and inclusive pronoun. When Merriam-Webster proclaimed the gender-neutral pronoun “they” as its 2019 word of the year, it did more than establish a linguistic precedent - it signaled a major cultural shift.

ILDK Media is committed to driving the conversation on gender evolution to have employers listen and embrace a blurred gender to reflect the more fluid world we live in.

Our consultancy program shapes employers to become pioneers in the movement to challenge the meaning and the traditional constraints of gender representation and connects companies with millennials.

A survey conducted by GLAAD found that more than one in ten (12%) of Millennials actually identify as transgender or gender non-conforming, meaning they don’t identify with the sex they were assigned at birth.

ILDK Media educates companies on how to tear down gender stereotypes and embrace gender fluidity by giving communicators the tools to craft an effective strategy that beyond speaking to a gender, ultimately resonates with a lifestyle.

3)  WHAT MAKES A BUSINESS STAND OUT?

As we continue to evolve in a world in constant digital and cultural transformation, ILDK Media can and want to help businesses raise the bar on LGBTQ+ & gender neutrality inclusion by having an authentic marketing and communication approach.

Sustaining a positive public image is not about slapping a rainbow over a logo to show support during Pride month; it is about understanding and embracing a philosophy and lifestyle that are on their way to become the new normal.
